On this project we provided the renovation of a well-known hair salon, in the center of Kalamaria. Due to the increased requirements of the establishment, we created a surface of more than 190m².

The main goal of this project was the complete brandrenewal by adding modern elements on the interior of the establishment and creating an impressive illuminated metal canopy on the exterior.

The new front entrance creates a central axis of movement on either side of which are placed themen’s departmentsalon workstations whereasat the back of the establishment there is a staircase going up to the women’s department.

A dynamic addition is the creation of a room-in-room, using a partition made of wood and corrugated glass. In this premium space, giving the required privacy, is where the hair wash unitsare placed. Light diffuses through the corrugatedglass panels, and the space is dominated by a custommade metal deer head wall décor on the ceiling. On the other side, the partition having wooden rectangular cellsworks as a showcase. The same design concept that combines wood and marble is used inthe reception area. The metal staircase is builtin a new position and covered with white marble and wood.The design of the second level, although characterized by elements such as the rectangular honeycomb and marble, is significantly different from that of the ground floor, the colors and materials being brighter and earthier. An important change is the use of whitecolor, in contrast to the dark atmosphere of the ground floor.The hair stylingareas are separated to ensure optimal customer service. The large island styling stationwith marble bench top and wooden French style base is the central point, creating a circular movement around it. Round salon mirrors were designed to be in proportion with the rest of thespace.The hair washarea is connected with the hair styling area however it is possible to make it more private using the curtains that enclose the hair wash units.Finally, a demanding projectwas the installation of a metal canopy as a continuous structure along the façade.The upper part and the perimetric structure of the canopy is solid, and the salon brand is attached to the front. In the lower part, the metal frame is visible and holds the translucent panels that are illuminated during the night hours.
